With a background in game design I developed skills to build 3D models. I use 3ds Max mainly and know a bit of Maya and would love to learn Blender. My style is one of slightly wonky with a serious tone. My models are built in a way that normal carpenters or welders and fabricators would never let leave the shop. I like to add a bit of character to my work, and adding ever so slight tweaks make this stuff feel more like I was part of it. Here are some of my personal works.

3D Art

This has been a passion project for awhile now.  I've always wanted to create a neat game level to my own liking and really love the style of the low poly old school PS1 games from the days of old. All the models in this project are low poly and will have their place in Unity after they are textured and fully realized. I'll animate something neat it the scene too.

Lighting

During my time at school I made one of my main focuses animating in 3D. I took to it so quickly that I made sure to put a little extra effort into my work making sure it turns out the best thing I can make it. I take live examples of my outrageous friends and animate them. They hate it.

Lighting interests me a lot. I think that the right light sets the mood for any scene, and when the right mood is set then the story shines through that much more. I also like to play around with the lighting making it look funky giving an odd feel to what's going on. I'll continue to experiment until the scene turns out just the way I like it.
